Bonusprint is one of the cheapest online photo-printing services, offering standard prints for as little as 5p (albeit at the slightly odd size of 4 x 5.3in and only for orders of over 250 prints).
What we liked:
Bonusprint is one of the cheapest online photo-printing services, offering standard prints for as little as 5p (albeit at the slightly odd size of 4 x 5.3in and only for orders of over 250 prints). It also regularly runs special offers, such as two large photo books for the price of one.
Images can be easily uploaded for processing, but anyone on a slow connection also has the option of sending shots on a CD or memory card. You can even have 35mm film developed (remember that?). You can also organise and order pictures offline with Bonusprint’s free digital-photo software.
In addition to the usual photo gifts, Bonusprint offers a range of unique products, such as personalised wash bags, snow globes and engraved glass. There’s also a web album facility that lets you share photos with friends and family.
How it can be improved:
You only get a measly 1GB of free storage, which avid photographers are likely to fill very quickly. The lack of online photo-editing tools is also disappointing.
Our verdict:
Bonusprint is a decent no-frills printing service, ideal for anyone wanting cheap prints and photo products. However, it lacks the extra features and community feel of PhotoBox.
