It aims to improve the environment by reducing the number of vehicles on the roads – particularly those with lone passengers. At the same time, the site hopes to introduce travellers to one another through the internet so they can make new friends while helping each other to reduce their carbon footprint. It provides different sections for business, leisure and students to make it easy to find people taking similar journeys.
