Competitive prices, huge selection, loads of news and reviews (more than 1,000 when we visited) and even a version of the site formatted for TV – there's gotta be something wrong, surely? Yep: the pages can be maddeningly slow to download, even on broadband, and a couple of our attempted searches led to a 'Page cannot be opened' dead end. Web User Bronze Award for Best Games Shop on the web (16/05/2002).

Verdict

Despite slow pages the discount on games is very good.
