Codes.co.uk

If all a website offered was the same discount codes as everyone else, it wouldn’t really be worth visiting.

What we liked: Codes.co.uk stands out because it has exclusive codes that you won’t find anywhere else.

Whereas some stores have been known to contact discount-code sites and demand that promotional details be withdrawn, Codes.co.uk has evidently built up strong relationships with retailers who are happy to let everyone in on a saving. Admittedly, most of the stores listed aren’t exactly household names, but by taking advantage of their deals, you’ll be helping out smaller companies.

We especially like the way that Codes.co.uk categorises retailers by type. This gives you the chance to find a real bargain for a particular product you’re after and gives you more flexibility when you’re searching for savings.

How it can be improved:
Interactivity seems to be Codes.co.uk’s weak point – there’s no forum, blog, newsletter or RSS feed. This is a shame because it means there’s no real community feel, although you can submit voucher codes for others to use.

Our verdict:
Codes.co.uk may not seek to engage personally with visitors but, by actively arranging deals with a broad selection of companies, it ensures that there are always lots of appealing offers to browse.
