Tazbar

Review Date : Wed, 1 Nov 2006

Author : Web User

Tazbar combines auctions, wanted ads and lets you track down jobs and services.

Buyers post information on what they are looking for with a rough price of what they'd be prepared to pay. You can request all kinds of products across a whole range of categories and the idea is that others will check the site and offer up the desired goods. Once a buyer and seller are put in contact an auction is started for the product. There are more than 1,000 categories and you can register for email alerts on any given item or keyword. Sellers can place ads for auction, or sell at a fixed price using the Instant Purchase option. It's considerably more colourful than eBay, but we'll wait and see whether it ever matches eBay's depth of items.
