It does so by scouring the web for content, then reporting back with concise summaries, together with photos, video and audio links to original stories. Newser employs more than 100 different sources, is very easy to browse and covers such topics as technology, business, health, entertainment and world news. The homepage consists of a nine-by-nine grid displaying snapshots of the most notable stories. This allows the site to pack in lots of diverse information with a presentation and design that’s far more appealing than rival news aggregator Digg.
