If your eyes turn misty at the mere mention of peace, flower power, JFK and flares, you're going to really enjoy this website.
The BBC has launched an 'I Love the 1960s' site, based on its popular TV series taking a look back at the life and times of the era. Each week a new year from the decade is added and will feature interviews with stars such as Tony Blackburn and Jimmy Saville, as well as photos and information about cult films, music, toys, TV programmes and fashions from the decade. There are tons of video clips with unseen concert footage of some artists. One of the best features has to be the foot-tapping Jukebox, with a clip of every UK number one of the decade for you to listen to. Or travel back to the Sixties using the BBC Time Machine to find out what was happening on a certain date. I love the Sixties and I love this site.
