Medic Direct
- Wed, 17 Apr 2002
MedicDirect has gone under the surgeon's knife and had new features and content implanted. The two-year-old site's content, which is written and maintained by a team of GPs and consultants, includes information ranging from diet and fitness to first aid and advice for medical complaints. New features, including more videos of operations (not for the squeamish), self-assessment tools and health calculators add to the vast collection of information on offer. Other new categories, or 'clinics', include health at school, living with disabilities, family therapy and foot care. In fact, this site is so extensive that hypochondriacs are bound to discover they have some illness they never knew about.
Verdict
Fed up of being on the waiting list to ask your doctor a question? This is the site for you.
