This website invites you to create and store your very own time capsule online using documents, photos and videos.
There’s something a bit ‘Blue Peter garden’ about creating your own time capsule, but this new site is dragging the concept into the Web 2.0 era. Rather than digging up the garden, you make your capsule online from text, photos and videos. It can either be shared with everyone or limited to selected friends and family can access, with the option to order a physical version as a gift. As the site’s name suggests, capsules can be stored for 100 years, with the format of its contents periodically upgraded to keep up with technology. Capsules cost £19.45 each – or nearly 2p per year - and offer a good means of immortalising loved ones’ lives.
