The official website has undergone a makeover, offering more fun games and competitions for pupils, as well as further information for teachers and parents. New features include the Classroom Pitfall 2 game, offering kids the chance to win 25,000 Computers for Schools vouchers. Players must dodge salamanders, leap computer viruses and deadly spinning globes, in order to complete the five levels. There are also screensavers and wallpapers, archived games from the previous site and more serious information for adults.
Verdict
Tesco’s Computer for Schools initiative, now in its 13th year, has provided over £84m worth of computers and computer-related equipment for schools.
