With the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall fast approaching (9 November), the BBC has released a hugely impressive online video archive of broadcasts, including old Panorama and Newsnight shows.
The collection traces the history of post-war Berlin, from the Soviet blockade in 1948 to the formal reunification of Germany in 1990.
Some of the broadcasts are fascinating historical gems, especially the chilling 1961 report from Peter Woods who witnesses the boundary between West and East Berlin being sealed.
Perhaps the most extraordinary report comes from Peter Snow, presenting live from Berlin in 1989 as the Wall begins to crumble.
You can also watch live footage of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall on the BBC iPlayer.
