The excellent Fox Searchlight site has some fascinating videos going behind the scenes of Wes Anderson's new film, Fantastic Mr. Fox, which is released in the UK on 23 October.

You can watch how the stop-motion animation worked, discover what inspired Anderson to make the film and hear what Felicity Dahl thinks her late husband Roald - the book's author - would have made of the adaptation.

You can even see sketches Dahl made when writing the book.

We think he'd have loved the final product. The clips certainly look great. And George Clooney is just perfect as Mr. Fox - not to mention Bill Murray as Badger.

It's a star-studded affair. Meryl Streep is Mrs. Fox, while Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Jason Schwartzman and Willem Defoe also provide voices.
