Bagpuss, the most beautiful, the most magical, saggy old cloth cat in the whole world, has been voted the favourite children's TV animal of all-time in an online poll.
According to the BBC, more than 1,100 people took part in the survey, commissioned to mark the launch of CBeebies Animals magazine.
Bagpuss was rated above Tom and Jerry, Winnie the Pooh and the Magic Roundabout team.
