Did you hear about the Swedish art student, who boasted he had created the biggest drawing in the world using a GPS device and DHL delivery service?
On his website, Erik Nordenankar claimed that he placed a GPS device in a briefcase and then sent the case on a 55-day trip around the worldwith DHL.
He said: "My pen was a briefcasecontaining the GPS device, being sent around the world. The paths thebriefcase took around the globe became the strokes of the drawing."
Well apparently, it was all a big hoax. Nordenankar confessed after bloggers pointed out holes in his portrait such as the unlikely claim that DHL delivery planes could make the tight loops in the North Atlantic that form the hair of the self-portrait.
