This story gave us the almighty heebie-jeebies and no mistake - a banana spider found in a Kent supermarket. Its proper name is the highly-venomous Brazilian Wandering Spider (phoneutria nigriventer), and it's apparently killed more people than any other type of spider. Cripes!
