The second leg of the World Cup play-off kicks off in Maribor at 7.45pm British time.
Russia won the first leg in Moscow 2-1 thanks to two goals from Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.
But the most decisive goal on Saturday could turn out to be Nejc Pecnik's 88th-minute close-range header, which gave Slovenia a vital away goal, and means they can reach South Africa 2010 with just a 1-0 win.

Apologies if you think it's too early to start thinking about Christmas, but ITN has launched its new Christmas Channel on YouTube.
It contains over 200 pieces of content, including Christmassy cartoons and interviews with celebrities, such as Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis and Peter Andre, who will be telling us what the festive season means to them.
I have to admit, that's a relief. The meaning of Xmas had been lost on me, but now that Peter Andre is here to confirm what it's all about, I can merrily start making plans.
Actually, that's a lie. It was to my horror yesterday, while I was enjoying my Sunday paper in Costa Coffee, to hear Christmas music over the speakers. I looked at the date on my newspaper - 15 November. Oh my.
So all the goodwill that the ultra-cosy Marks and Spencer Christmas TV advert had instilled in me has now evaporated. But if you're feeling less Scrooge-like than me, just click the link below.

South Africa - England live Twenty20 cricket: 2nd match

You can watch the second Twenty20 match between South Africa and England live online using the Sky Player if you're a Sky Sports subscriber with a Broadband Unlimited or Multiroom package.
Coverage from Centurion starts at 12pm.
Paul Collingwood's team won the first match on Friday in Johannesburg, thanks to a boundary-whacking 85 from Eoin Morgan.
But only the application of the Duckworth/Lewis method gave England the one-run victory, after South Africa's innings came to a soggy end at 127-3.
That wasn't enough to beat England's 202-6.
