Uruguay - Argentina live World Cup football online
- Mon, 12 Oct 2009

Just how massive is this game? It's the ultimate winner-takes-all. If Argentina win, they're through to the 2010 South Africa World Cup. If Uruguay win, then they'll be jetting off next summer. And if it's a draw, then Ecuador (who play already-qualified Chile in Santiago) have a chance of snatching the last automatic place.
The match, in Montevideo's Estadio Centenario, could see the Albiceleste miss out on the finals for the first time since 1970.
Such an unthinkable failure would surely mean the end of Diego Maradona's international managerial career.

But the situation is a bit complicated, and it involves Ecuador.
Each country could finish fourth, and qualify automatically.
Each country could finish fifth, and face Honduras or Costa Rica in a play-off.
And each country team could finish sixth and miss out entirely.
See, we told you it was complicated. To read the possible outcomes in more detail, visit FIFA's official site. I'm sure there's lots of excitement and nervousness in these Argentina football blogs - we've picked our favourite four blogs.
The FIFA site also has some great photos of Argentina's rain-soaked win over Peru on Saturday.
