Man Utd blog
Containing loads of match reports, analysis, news and opinion, this blog has over 30 blog post categories covering everything you can think of relating to Man U as well as a few on football in general. It's also useful because it links to all the blogs mentioned below and others - making it a good place to start. It has a nifty little Facebook widget on the home page and links to all related social-networking sites add to its community appeal.
Red Rants
Game previews, analysis and news make up the bulk of this blog, run by a group of Man Utd fans. They have their own RSS feed as well as related content links. Breaking news is presented slightly differently to regular posts which is helpful and it has a popular online community too.
A Kick In The Grass
The comment policy on this site begins, "Abusive numpties take note" - setting the purpose of the blog nicely: fans looking to share views and opinions without abuse. It's not one of the better-looking Man U blogs, but is crammed with posts dating back to August 06. It's less about news and previews - although still has its fair share - and more about opinion pieces making it personal and passionate. A long list of related links works well too.
The Republik of Mancunia (RoM)
At RoM you can subscribe via mobile, RSS and email, buy official RoM, tailor-made Manchester United merchandise and join the RoM prediction league. The blog is updated several times a day - giving all the subscribe methods added value and the RoM official forum has hundreds of members who regularly comment on posts giving it a proper community feel.
Manchester United Unofficial blog
Run by an avid Red Devils fan in Vietnam, this blog has team, match and transfer news as well as video clips. The league table is a useful addition, as is upcoming game information and posts on the history of the club give it more depth than simple news blogs or fan sites.
