On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me...a last minute-shopping spree

Ah, the joy of being physically carried along Oxford Street by the crowds. The wondrous sound of mums screaming for their lost children in Hamleys. The feeling of London pride when asked for the hundredth time where Selfridges (http://www.selfridges.co.uk) is. The fun of freezing with fellow shoppers queuing to get into Oxford Circus tube. The thrills of tugging bags from the iron grip of closing tube doors (http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/shopping). The challenge of making sure no one nicks your bounty before you get home.


Think I'll use the net instead and just experience the above by reading other people's blogs.
