This excellent and often overlooked compression tool can shrink files right down in size. The ZIP files it produces are, on average, around 2-10 per cent smaller than those created with WinZip. To make the most of the program however, you'll need to use the software's own proprietary 7z format which promises a 30-70 per cent reduction.
