Clear Content is actually a content-management system, rather than a web-design tool, and requires a MySQL database to be configured. Once this is up and running, the system works well, but the process is likely to be off-putting to those starting out in website design.

Content is added through the use of modules and the system is very flexible, but there’s something of a learning curve to be negotiated before you can get started. Impressive, but WordPress (www.wordpress.org) does a similar job for free.
