Humyo offers 10GB of online storage space for free, but for £45.99 a year you can have 100GB. Not only will you get more space, but you can access online files using a web browser or mobile phone, and map your storage to a drive letter as you would a normal disk drive. This means you can use the online space as if it were a local disk. The web browser interface is good and you can drag and drop files to upload them.

A great feature of the paid account is a tool that synchronises folders on your PC with folders on any other computer you use. You can synch your Desktop, Documents, Music, Videos, Pictures, Favorites, Contacts, Downloads and Links folders in this way. All content is uploaded in the background and kept safe in your online storage space, and then automatically downloaded to any other computers you’ve registered with the service. The free option means that you can try before you buy, which gives it a definite advantage over Livedrive, though Humyo’s paid-for options don’t offer quite the same value for money.
