SquirrelSave is very similar in concept to MozyHome and Carbonite, offering unlimited back-up for a small monthly fee, but compared to the relative slickness of its rival, SquirrelSave feels less polished. The set-up is straightforward enough, and selecting files and folders to back up is done in Windows Explorer via the right-click menu. The configuration menu, however, is a lot less friendly looking.

SquirrelSave suffers a little on the value front, as its £4.95 per month isn’t as competitive as MozyHome or Carbonite’s lower prices. However, it does offer the benefit of being able to purchase in sterling, if you’re not keen on working in dollars.
