Yahoo Desktop Search

This isn’t really Yahoo Desktop Search, but a product called X1. Yahoo used to market a rebranded version but now it simply redirects would-be downloaders to X1’s homepage. Here, you can download a 14-day trial version of the paid-for X1 Pro product. It’s a competent Desktop search tool but it costs £30 and, with so many free alternatives that are also better, we just don’t see the point.
