Ask Desktop Search

Ask’s Desktop tool lets you search for files in two ways – either directly through your browser or by using the program interface. Type some keywords into the latter and then choose the type of search you want (computer, emails or the web) by clicking the relevant button. It doesn’t bring up the results as you type, but it does let you preview content, and you can narrow your results by clicking the category tabs at the top of the screen.
