MSN Search Toolbar

Microsoft’s search utility boasts a wider range of options than many programs, letting you search only your My Documents folder and email, the whole hard disk or just the folders you select.
The program scans as quickly, if not as thoroughly, as Yahoo Desktop Search, skipping the contents of archive files. However, add-ins are available from http://addins.msn.co.uk, offering the ability to index ZIP and RAR files, Adobe PDF documents, help files and other file types. A dedicated search window lets you preview your results before opening them.
