WebFerret 5.0

WebFerret is a very basic program that is, perhaps, beginning to show its age. It integrates into Internet Explorer but, beyond this, does little to endear it to the average net user. Our initial searches didn’t manage to provide results outside LookSmart and AltaVista, in a search that we knew should go wider. Later searches did take on more search engines, including AOL, About.com and Yahoo, which uses Google.
The results can be shown in the software’s own window or in Internet Explorer, though IE formats the results in a way that renders them almost unreadable. Not a very satisfactory piece of software at all.
