Clipperz is an entirely anonymous web-based password manager. You don’t need to give an email address when you sign up, just enter a new user name and passphrase.

Clipperz is an entirely anonymous web-based password manager. You don’t need to give an email address when you sign up, just enter a new user name and passphrase. These, however, you will need to remember, as the site cannot retrieve lost login details for security reasons.

Once signed up, you can create cards for storing passwords, credit card numbers and so on. The browser bookmarklet lets you set direct logins for your favourite sites, so you can access them with a single click.

There’s a read-only offline version you can save to your hard disk, and one which is designed to be opened in either the Firefox sidebar or the Opera panel.
