Google Docs doesn’t try to mimic every last facet of Microsoft Office. Instead, it focuses on the most commonly used options and its killer feature – speed. Google’s coders have forgone features and concentrated their efforts on making the applications load fast and operate smoothly. This makes it a better experience.
To our mind, Google’s implementation of sharing and collaboration makes Docs preferable to any of the others here. Access to documents can be limited to invited parties or you can create web links that let anyone view – but not edit – the content. You can also publish content to the web. It’s possible to create a presentation and then publish it immediately. The site’s simplicity is wonderful.
