Coming from as big a name as it does, Google Groups is something of a disappointment. A Group essentially comprises a number of static pages, a directory of uploaded files and a discussion board. While pages and the look of the group can be customised to a certain degree, there is little scope for expansion. The ability to mass email members of the group is certainly useful if your group is more about dialogue than information, but it’s far from being a reason to choose Google Groups above other options.

I agree. I'd like to be able to organise information files into folders, but can't see how to do that. Anyone know how?
