Trillian Basic

Trillian is probably the best-known universal messenger and is available in two versions – basic and pro.

Trillian is probably the best-known universal messenger and is available in two versions – basic and pro. For $25 (about £17), you can have added video chat along with a few extra logging- and video-related features, as well support for plug-ins Although the basic version is reasonable enough, the set-up is rather awkward. Also, the basic version only offers support for Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo and ICQ messengers, which makes it a feel a bit limited.
