Yahoo Messenger 8 with BT Communicator

The latest version of Yahoo Messenger is the first to let you send messages to your Windows Live/MSN Messenger contacts, although audio and video functions aren’t available yet. The program has benefited for some time from integration with BT Communicator, which lets you call landline and mobile phones over the net, while other options include calling computers, conducting voice conferences and webcam conversations, plus sending email via your default mail program. Yahoo’s many web services – search, Mail, music site Launch, query-solving community Answers, and the blogging tool 360˚ – are instantly accessible from within the main interface. The software also offers plenty of customisation options, including skins and a personalised away message, and tools for viewing your call history and leaving voice mails for offline contacts.
