DivShare

DivShare is excellent for shifting hefty files from one place to another and even integrates with Facebook.

What we liked:
DivShare offers plenty of free online storage – up to 5GB – and a maximum file size of 200MB. This makes the service an excellent choice for shunting hefty files from place to place – even more so since the interface has undergone some neat renovations.

DivShare lets you upload up to five files at a time and converts videos into Flash format so they can be embedded on websites and blogs. You can use the additional settings to organise uploads into a specific folder, password-protect files and email links directly to someone else.

It's useful to be able to tag files for greater control and there are decent viewing controls to sort, select and view files stored on the server. We also liked the integration with Facebook that lets you take content stored
on DivShare and post it onto your friends' walls.

How it can be improved:
Upload speeds vary from sluggish to OK, while download speeds are deliberately choked in the free version (premium accounts are priced from $3.95 per month - about £2.45). The site would also benefit from a proper help section.
