If you want a quick and easy way to get started with BitTorrent, then µTorrent requires very little configuration to get going. The software weighs in at just 154KB and there’s no installation involved – just grab it, double-click and you’re ready to go.

Despite its tiny size, it’s far from basic on the features front. It will comfortably handle multiple BitTorrent files at the same time and you can limit upload bandwidth. There’s no facility for plug-ins though, so you can’t bolt on extra features at a later date, but it covers most bases as standard.
