Revo Uninstaller

Revo Uninstaller’s is an effective little tool with an interface that seems stuck in time – 1999 to be precise. On top of the main uninstaller element, which works pretty well, Revo’s Tracks Cleaner feature eliminates all those bits of information that get pushed around your hard disk while you surf the net. However, there’s no indication that it’s able to cope with the way current browsers may work. Its heading of ‘Firefox 2’ suggests it’s a bit behind the times.

Revo’s best feature is the Hunter Mode. Activate this and then use the floating target cursor to highlight any program or folder. Click on your target, and Revo attempts to work out how to remove it from your hard disk.
