Auction Sentry loses ground on its rivals thanks to its payment options (although it does offer a 10-day free trial). There are some useful features, such as synchronising your PC’s clock with eBay’s and tracking profits on sold items to help you sell. However, a lot of the options are only available in the full Deluxe edition. This includes the ability to set up a snipe with a click of a button – a bit mean when the Standard edition isn’t even free. Unfortunately, you also need to leave your PC on and the software running to bid.
