This external drive is huge – boasting a hefty 750GB capacity. You can connect the disk to your PC using either USB or Firewire. There’s a second Firewire port on the device that can be used for connecting more hard disks if 750GB just isn’t enough. The drive comes pre-formatted in one big 750GB chunk and you can simply plug it into Windows XP and start using it. However, it also comes with superior software for backing up and diagnostics should you wish to use it. The only downside is the price which, although great value in terms of GB to the pound, just seems like a lot to pay.
