This disk has both Ethernet and USB connections, so you can either plug it into a router for sharing over a network or hook it up to a single PC. Setting up is simple – folders are created for you and you can access these as soon as you plug the device in. Using the browser-based interface you can also set up other functions, such as different folders for different users, complete with password protection. There are some handy extra features too, such as the option of plugging in a USB printer to share across a network. The only downside is that it has a rather noisy fan.
