Epson Stylus Photo 950

As well as the usual paper tray extensions, this printer comes with a roller and cutter for special photo paper, allowing you total control over the size of your prints. It also has a special attachment so you can print directly onto recordable CDs that have blank white labels ready for the purpose, making it a very versatile printer.
Photo printing is this model's reason for being and it does a reasonable job on photo paper, though we saw a few lines coming through on some of our test images. It isn't as good on plain paper though, with no happy medium between printing in the detailed finer modes and the speedier, but rougher, draft modes. If you're looking for a dedicated photo printer and don't intend to use it for anything else, this has plenty of options and features, though average users may also want to print the occasional document at higher quality.
