The Asus Eee PC 1000H comes with Windows XP installed, though Asus also offers a Linux version if you prefer. With specs very similar to MSI’s Wind, it was a close fight for third place in our performance tests, and although there was virtually nothing in it, the Asus was just pipped by MSI.
If you’ve got fast 802.11n Wi-Fi at home, the Asus will connect with it to give you a better connection by default. However, the price is at the upper limit and the hard disk is a little tight at only 80GB.
