Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution

You get what you pay for with this deluxe wireless desktop set.

If you're looking for luxury, this is the set to choose. However, lavishness comes at a price - double that of the Microsoft model. The mouse is an ergonomic dream (so long as you're right-handed) and is configurable so that you can choose a scroll wheel that either clicks or runs smooth. It's also rechargeable - Logitech claims that a two-hour stint on the supplied dock provides enough power for 15 days of use.

The keyboard is a classy affair, with sleek lines and customisable buttons, although the square design does compromise a little on comfort. It also has its own screen, which can show a range of information including the time and date, what's playing on your media player, how many unread messages are in your Inbox and even how many key presses you've made.
