This media player is designed and manufactured right here in the UK but, unfortunately, patriotic pride ends there. It has a thick, bulky casing and a non-standard headphone socket (an adapter is provided but it’s a rather large protrusion at 2cm). To navigate the 3.2in touchscreen, you have to press areas of the screen rather than actually touching the items you want. You also use the off button to go back. It’s great value for money and plays a good range of file types, but you’ll have to put up with a few quirks.
