Shaped more like a mobile phone than the brick-like design of some models, the E-Zi simply plugs into a USB port on your computer, digitally converting your voice over your net connection with no need for a sound card or microphone. Its built-in memory stores up to 199 incoming and dialled numbers, while caller ID and speed dialling are available for VoIP calls. As well as working with Skype (software for which is included), you can use the E-Zi with Microsoft NetMeeting, MSN Messenger and Net2Phone, though for these you’ll need to select your contacts on-screen rather than via the keypad.
