Sanyo Xacti VPC-C6

Review Date : Sun, 8 Oct 2006

A digital video camera that records directly onto memory cards, offers great quality and an affordable price.

If your budget is more restricted, Sanyo’s next camera down the range is unlikely to disappoint. Its best quality mode shoots video at 640 x 480 pixels and 30 frames per second. There are cheaper cameras here that boast the same raw specifications, but the results on this device are markedly superior.

As with digital cameras, it’s not the resolution that pushes the price up but the features. This camera has a sophistication its rivals lack, such as an optical zoom, better sound recording, and an audio interface that ‘talks’ to you if you change settings.
