Why wait to get your photos online when this Wi-Fi equipped model can share them as soon as you've taken them?
When all’s said and done, the most important thing about a camera is how well it takes pictures. The S52c from Nikon’s Coolpix range is a good all-rounder on this score, well-equipped with its nine megapixels for taking great snaps in a variety of conditions.
The camera is easy to use and has a handy dial controller on the back. This can be rotated or used like a directional joypad, offering a versatile way of scrolling through menus and options.
The most interesting feature of the Coolpix is probably its Wi-Fi connection. Although you still can’t use this to wirelessly upload pictures to your PC, it does let you host them on Nikon’s image-hosting website (www.mypicturetown.com). You can also email links to your shots directly from the camera.
