Apple iPad tablet

After months of rumour and hearsay, Apple has finally unveiled its tablet device to the world.

The iPad features a 9.7in touch sensitive display with a resolution of 1,024x768 and runs on the same software platform as the iPhone, so you can download additional applications from Apple's App Store.

There's Wi-Fi built in and 3G available as an option. It's powered by Apple's own 1GHz A4 processor and comes with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of flash memory.
