What do you get if you cross an MP3 player with a Rubik’s Cube? The Rubik Cube MP3 Player of course. According to its designer, Hee Yong, each layer has a specific function, such as play, pause, forward and back and you control the device by rotating the sides.

So to raise or lower the volume and change or pause tracks, you have to play with it just as you would the original puzzle And when you want to turn the cube off, you have to solve it.

Nothing else is known about the player at the moment, mainly because it’s a concept rather than a product. However, if it ever does make it into production (which is frankly unlikely), we hope the manufacturers will accept peeling off and rearranging the stickers as a legitimate way of solving the puzzle.
