TrekStor i.Beat organix Gold

This, apparently, is the world’s most expensive MP3 player. The TrekStor i.Beat organix Gold was created for Russian-Canadian billionaire Alex Shnaider. The casing is made of 18k gold and inlaid with 63x1k diamonds. It also has a small chain made of aquamarine gems and took a German jeweller over 100 man hours to produce.

No doubt Alex Shnaider was very happy with it. Although he’s probably not quite so happy now that TrekStor is flogging off identical versions of it to anyone with a spare €20,000 (£13,134) to hand.

He’s probably also wishing he bought an blinged-up version of the iPod instead, seeing as the i.Beat organix Gold only comes with 2GB of memory.
