Griffin is hoping to solve iPod charging quarrels with its PowerDock adapter. Available in either two or four dock versions, simply plug it in, slip in an iPod and it'll be topped up in no time at all.
It comes with a full range of Universal Dock Adapters, so provided you're not using an iPod shuffle you shouldn't have a problem finding one for your current model. It's compatible with the iPhone as well as the new iPod touch and classic models.
It should also help clear up some cable clutter, since you won't need to have multiple mains adapters strewn around and there's no need to fire up your PC just to top up your portable player via USB - simply drop it in the dock and wait until it's fully charged.
The PowerDock will be available in October for £34.99 (2 iPods) or £44.99 (4 iPods) from Currys.
