Google Nexus One Android phone

The Nexus One is the first Android handset that consumers can buy directly from Google.

It will be available either contract free or at a reduced price if you buy it with a service plan from one of Google's selected network partners.

The phone itself is made by HTC and runs the latest 2.1 release of Android which includes free turn by turn satnav functionality courtesy of Google Maps Navigation. It's powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the touchscreen AMOLED display stretches to 3.7in.
